Summer Sharks
Rising Pre-K 4 - 5th $300
Ready for the best summer ever? Come join JCDS in celebrating 55 years of summer camp with Summer Sharks! Spend your summer with us swimming, in our beautiful gym, and competing in special events. Campers will travel on a weekly off-campus field trip, earn the 2026 bottle badges, visit the art room and enjoy game time with friends in their cabin.
New for 2026 we are introducing the Invention Lab! This will be a space for campers to explore creativity, test out their skills and challenge their minds and friends to a weekly special project.
Daily lunch and a snack are included for all campers. Get ready to spend your summer the right way with JCDS!
Field Trip:
Campers will be headed to the Movies at Regal Avenues to enjoy a private movie screening of Toy Story 5.
Camp Tradition:
Grab your running shoes and get ready for the camp Olympics! Join us for an epic week of friendly camp competitions, events and fun throughout the week. Will your group earn the priveledge of carrying the camp torch?
Dance Around the World
Rising Pre-K 4 - K $350

Grab your dance shoes and passport and let's boogie! This introductory dance program will explore fun places all over the globe though music, activities, dance and crafts. Camper will get to experience a taste of fun, exciting places throuth the art of dance. No experience necesary, and all are welcome! This progam will be led by JCDS Dance Instructor, Ashley Nelson.

Mini Time Travelers
Rising Pre-K 4 - K $350

Grab your Time Machine and get ready for an adventure through history! Each day, campers will blast off to a different era to explore. From digging for dinosaur bones, to building castles, and dreaming of the future we will journey through time with crafts, games, stories, and dress up fun. This time warping good time will be led by JCDS Early Learning Associate, Kaelyn Hart.

Royal Adventures
Rising Pre-K 4 - 2nd $350

Hear ye, hear ye! Discover a kingdom where every prince and princess can uncover their inner magic at Royal Adventures camp! A week full of fun and enchantment awaits: from a crowning ceremony with tiaras and magical creatures to sparkle science experiments, a royal rescue mission, baking in the Queen’s kitchen, and growing an enchanted garden. Campers will build confidence, courage, kindness, and bravery. They will enjoy a royal candlelight spa and end the week with a dazzling coronation day and royal ball, celebrating their strength, magic, and sparkle! This program will be led by JCDS Kindergarten Teacher, Amanda Yarberry.

BIRDS!
Rising K - 2nd $350

Let's take flight! Come soar on the wings of eagles, keep watch with an owl or learn to dive bomb with a falcon. Join us as we explore the world of flight (and flightless) birds, their habitats, diet and the science behind flight and the aviarian world. This program will be led by JCDS Science Specilaist, Deb "Mama Bird" Landon.

Amigo Adventures - Spanish Camp
Rising K - 2nd $350

!Hola! Come explore the Spanish language and the diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking countries through fun, hands-on activities. This camp will focus on the basics of building vocabulary, practicing conversation, and celebrating traditions from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world — all while having fun and learning through play, art, food, and music. This program will be led by JCDS Kindergarten Associate, Sofia Goytia.

Shark Week
Rising 1st - 5th $350

Take a bite out of this summer! Dive into the shark cage and explore the world of the great white, mako and tiger sharks through fun activities, lessons and hands on science. Sharks are such an amazing part of the aquatic environment, pop culture and life here in Florida. Come learn more about these magnificent creatures. This program will be led by JCDS Associate, Mimi Bajalia.

Camp Spotlight
Rising 3rd - 5th $400
presented by Jessica Barker, Josie Camp, Lindsay Curry
Does your camper love to sing, dance, and act? Then come join us for the 20th annual musical theater camp at JCDS! Campers of all skill levels will work together to explore singing, dancing, and acting skills as they prepare for a final performance on the last day of camp. Campers will perform for family and friends on Friday, July 10th, at 5:30 p.m. Fine Arts Coordinator Lindsay Curry, JCDS Music Specialist Jessica Barker, and Dance Instructor Josie Camp will lead this production.
