Summer Sharks
Rising Pre-K 4 - 5th $300
Ready for the best summer ever? Come join JCDS in celebrating 55 years of summer camp with Summer Sharks! Spend your summer with us swimming, in our beautiful gym, and competing in special events. Campers will travel on a weekly off-campus field trip, earn the 2026 bottle badges, visit the art room and enjoy game time with friends in their cabin.
New for 2026 we are introducing the Invention Lab! This will be a space for campers to explore creativity, test out their skills and challenge their minds and friends to a weekly special project.
Daily lunch and a snack are included for all campers. Get ready to spend your summer the right way with JCDS!
Field Trip:
Pre-K 4 - 2nd: Campers will be headed The Nesting Collective for fun indoor play and a Slime science experiment.
3rd - 5th: Campers will be headed to Flight Adventure Park to enjoy trampolines, foam pits, and more!
Silly Sculptures
Rising Pre-K 4 - 2nd $400

Let's make some art! In this fun, creative art camp, campers will squish, sculpt, and shape a variety of art projects using air-dry clay, model magic, and other mediums to create amazing masterpieces! All artists are welcome to join us in making 3D masterpieces. This program will be led by former JCDS teacher, Abbey Waldman.

Story Moves!
Rising K - 2nd $350

Join us for a week of movement and imagination! Campers will use their creativity and imagination, and keep their bodies moving as stories jump off the page and into motion! Campers will dive into captivating read-alouds that inspire movement, laughter, and creativity. They will create art projects and even design their own canvas tote to carry their literary treasures to and from camp each day as they check out books for bedtime, because the joy of reading shouldn’t end when camp does! This fun program will be led by JCDS Library and Literacy Specialist, Jen Currie.

Story Singers
Rising K - 2nd $350

Calling all mini-musicians! Join us for a week of music and imagination as we learn fun, catchy songs that tell a hilarious story. Campers will build confidence, teamwork, and creativity while preparing a short mini show to share with family and friends. No experience is necessary, just pack your creativity, singing voice, and join us! This program will be led by JCDS Music Specialist Jessica Barker.

Sports Academy
Rising K - 2nd $350

Want to get a jump start on fall sports? Come join our multi-sport summer academy! Campers will get to explore basic concepts of team sports, including basketball, soccer, and t-ball. We’ll practice throwing, catching, hitting, shooting, dribbling, and more in this fun exploratory program. This program will be led by First Athletes Sports Training (FAST) instructor Matt Straight.

Flip It Sticky Films
Rising 3rd - 5th $400

Remember making flip books with your sticky notes? Let's take it to the next level with Flip It Sticky Films! Campers will work on their creativity, drawing skills, and planning out the scenes of their short, flip films. We'll do both large and small-scale flip movies and put them all together in a multi-scene film from each camp group. This program will be led by JCDS 1st-grade Teacher, Lyndsey Gammon.

Global Culture Explosion
Rising 3rd - 5th $350

Pack your creativity and curiosity as we travel the globe without leaving camp! Each day we’ll explore a new country’s stories, music, art, traditions, and inventions. Campers will make crafts, learn simple language phrases, try movement and music activities, and celebrate the beauty of cultures around the world. Perfect for kids who love crafts, storytelling, and learning about others! Your tour guide for this adventure will be JCDS 5th-grade Teacher Stephanie Teitelbaum.
